Family Programs
There are several opportunities each month for families to enjoy nature programs at the ENC. Full moon hikes and Star Parties give families the chance to explore the Center after dark. Little Naturalists programs feature stories and hands-on fun for 2 - 5 year olds and their parents. Family hikes feature hands-on activities; crafts for children aged 5 and up and their families. For a current list of events, check out our
Events page, or call the office at 949-645-8489 to be added to our Public Programs mailing list.
Volunteer Programs
Volunteer groups from around Orange County help the ENC by performing grounds work. Groups include Master Gardeners, OC Cares, National Charity League, Assistance League, Corporate Volunteer Days, High School Community Service, Trail Guides, Eagle Scout Projects, Girl Scout Gold, Silver and Bronze award projects, as well as opportunities for developmentally disabled adults. To schedule a group volunteer day, call 949-645-8489.
Adult Education Programs
Adult programs include free monthly tours led by our founder, Robert House, and various programs such as birding walks led by naturalists and experts in their field. Teacher in-service classes are offered through the Orange County Department of Education. For a current list of events, check out our
Events page, or sign up for our
